The ACCENT Florence Study Center serves as an information and resource center where students and faculty can stop in to ask questions, request program information, pick up mail, and use the Internet.
Depending on the program and course, classes and lectures take place in the ACCENT Florence Study Center, at partner institutions and at sites throughout the city of Florence.
The ACCENT Florence Study Center has a computer lab with iMacs, as well as wireless connectivity throughout the Study Center. Students can also print, make copies and scan documents.
ACCENT houses a large study area and a comprehensive lending library with a wide variety of subjects, including art and architecture, history, language and a large collection of both classic and modern fiction. There is also an extensive collection of travel guides, films and reference material.
The ACCENT Florence Study Center facilities include a small student lounge that provides a place to socialize with fellow classmates as well as other program participants.
Bulletin Boards & Facebook
ACCENT’s bulletin boards and Florence Study Center Facebook page provide information about various happenings around Florence and Italy, including films, art exhibits, lectures, concerts, dance performances, and special events.
ACCENT provides resources for students to aid them in their travel while abroad, including recommendations for day trips, train schedules, and other helpful travel hints.
