Ashley P. Spinelli
Partnership Development Manager
Ashley leads ACCENT’s U.S. institutional relations, and is responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with colleges and universities throughout the U.S. She also oversees the development of faculty-directed programs, and has guided hundreds of faculty and administrators through the process of designing customized study abroad programs across a range of academic disciplines. Ashley participated in a full-immersion academic year at the University of Bologna in Italy and a month-long faculty-directed global seminar in Ghana as an undergraduate, and has worked in Peru and Colombia. Ashley joined ACCENT in 2014, and has over 10 years of experience managing a combination of international exchange, service-learning, and social impact programs, including the Fulbright U.S. Student program with IIE. She holds an MA in International Educational Development from Columbia University, and a BA in Global Studies and Italian from the University of Minnesota.

Program Development Manager
Jim oversees ACCENT’s academic development efforts, with a primary focus on the development of customized quarter and semester programs. Jim collaborates with U.S. college and university partners, ACCENT Study Centers, and local faculty in each city to develop new programming and local courses that are topical, experiential, and reflect the depth and breadth of ACCENT’s local networks. Jim began with ACCENT in 2009 and prior to his work in program development, managed programs on-site in Madrid and Rome. He has participated in international academic programs in Spain, Italy, Bolivia and Argentina, and is a certified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). Jim holds a degree in Business Administration from Boston University and is originally from Massachusetts.
