SCUOLA LEONARDO DA VINCI
The Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, founded in 1977, is one of the most respected language schools in Italy. As a founding member of the Accademia Italiana di Lingua (AIL) and the Associazione Scuole d'Italiano come Lingua Seconda (ASILS), the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is committed to the high-quality teaching of Italian to foreign students. The Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is located in the quaint Piazza del Orlogio, just a short walk from many of Rome's historical and cultural sites.
Language courses are taught at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci by teachers who are native speakers of Italian. They are experienced language instructors who have been specially trained in teaching Italian to foreign students. All courses are taught in Italian. The emphasis of verbal communication permits students to learn Italian naturally, to combine theory with practice, and to increase their knowledge quickly and with confidence.
ACCENT programs are designed with the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci for students to either directly enroll in the appropriate level at the Scuola, or for faculty from the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci to be hired to teach specific courses to ACCENT students.

THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS
The European School of Economics is a private business college with Italian Centers in Rome, Florence and Milan covering such areas as finance, marketing, communications and management. Founded in Rome in 1991 ESE provides credits through the British University of Buckingham for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Rome Center of ESE is located in the heart of the city with state of the art classroom and computing facilities in an historical palazzo.

The ESE is a unique Business school in that is offers specialized courses and programs in emerging business areas such as cultural and arts management, fashion management, sports management environmental economics, sustainable business.

With all of it's classes held in English students may directly enroll in either single courses or a semester program. In addition ESE will custom design a course or program with a duration from 3 weeks to a full semester for groups of 12 students or more. The ESE works with the American University semester system with fall semester beginning in mid September to mid December and Spring beginning in Mid January to the beginning of May. Courses are generally 45 contact hours and class sizes are no more than 35 students. ESE attracts a wide range of international students from over 70 countries led by an international Faculty. Those students in a semester program also have the opportunity to participate in internships with some of Italy's leading companies.

LUISS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
LUISS School of Business is one of Italy's most prestigious Universities comprised of three Faculties - Economics, Political Science and Law. Founded in 1977 the University has three campuses in the heart of Rome with 36 classrooms, a 120,000 volume library and over 75 computing stations.

This state of the art Business School has trained many of Italy's and Europe's business leaders and is well known for it's academic excellence due to selective admissions and very high faculty to student ratio.

The University offers courses on English in the following areas in both the undergraduate and graduate level:

  • Patents and New Technologies, from software to biotech
  • Economics and Management of Innovation
  • International Economic Law
  • EC Law
  • International Property Law
  • International Arbitration
  • Economics and Policy of Transition
Student may enroll in single English language courses or in the semester program. Fall semester classes run from late September to mid December and Spring from March until June. For groups of 22 or more students custom courses and dates can be arranged. Courses generally have 45 contact hours. Of the 6500 students 30% are foreign students and LUISS has exchange agreements with Universities in 24 countries adding to the international business experience.

For those students enrolled in a semester program who have Italian language skill, LUISS's affiliation with the Confederation of Italian Industry, provides internship possibilities with over 200 public, private, and multinational corporations.
