CLASSROOMS ACCENT students attend classes at the newly renovated ACCENT Rome Center in the historic Palazzo Banco S. Spirto. Additional classes will extend into the city of Rome itself where on-site lectures will bring coursework alive. |
BULLETIN BOARDS In the ACCENT Rome Center, bulletin boards provide information about various happenings around the capital city: art exhibits, concerts, and other events, as well as travel information and interesting notes and facts about Italian language and culture. |
COMPUTER LAB The ACCENT Rome Center has a fully equipped computer lab with computers and wireless connectivity allowing free Internet access for ACCENT participants throughout the Center. |
STUDENT LOUNGES In the ACCENT Rome Center there are various student lounges and study areas with wireless Internet capability available for students to use in order to study or relax and socialize with other students. |
LIBRARY The ACCENT Rome Center maintains a lending library with travel guides (Let's Go, Lonely Planet, Berkeley, Michelin, etc.), reference books and other works of literature. The ACCENT Rome Center also subscribes to Italian and American newspapers and periodicals. |
CULTURAL AND EVENING ACTIVITIES The ACCENT Rome Center organizes a series of concerts, movies, lectures and special walking tours to allow students to better take advantage of life in Rome and to improve their understanding of the Italian culture. |
TRAVEL INFORMATION The ACCENT Rome Center offers a wide variety of travel resources. Among these are: information on travel agencies, train schedules, low-cost airlines, ideas for weekend and day trips within Italy, as well as a library of full-color brochures, maps and information from tourist offices throughout Italy. The office also provides guides with information on travel within Europe. |
