ACCENT seeks out safe, centrally-located housing, including apartments, student residences, homestays, and hotel rooms on shorter programs. All ACCENT accommodations are fully furnished and readily accessible to public transportation, banks, post offices, markets and restaurants.
Focus on Safety and Security
ACCENT has close ties to the U.S. State Department and constantly monitors overseas situations. Upon arrival in each host country, students and faculty are given a 24/7 emergency contact number for ACCENT staff, and every student is provided with faculty cell phone numbers. Each ACCENT Center provides students with an emergency procedures card to carry with them at all times. In addition, ACCENT staff keep track of student’s independent travel.
