As most faculty and study abroad administrators in the U.S. know, study abroad is a vital part of academic programs in American higher education. An overseas experience gives students an invaluable edge in this age of increasing globalization.
Study abroad students develop a deeper commitment to education by immersing themselves in a motivating academic environment, and gain a deeper understanding of the world through extensive exploration of another culture.
ACCENT encourages program faculty as well as students to make their own discoveries while living overseas. In addition to academic and cultural studies, we emphasize practical learning that fosters confidence and independence.
