Victor Gonzalez
Director
As the ACCENT Madrid Center Director, Victor works behind the scenes well in advance of student arrival and then during the program to make sure that each and every program and student experience is unique and exceptional. Born and raised in Habana, Cuba, Victor has lived and studied in Cuba, the United States and Spain, his beloved adopted land. A graduate of Skidmore College, his junior year abroad at the Autonomous University of Madrid was the catalyst for his choice of profession within the study abroad sector.

Cory Smith
Programs Coordinator
As Programs Coordinator Cory assists students in all aspects of their study abroad experience. Born and raised in the United States, Cory has lived in Spain since 2005. She is a graduate of Saint Lawrence University where she spent a semester studying abroad in Madrid. After graduating from SLU, Cory spent 5 years teaching Spanish in Boston, MA. Cory has a Masters in Education from Fitchburg State College in Boston, as well as a Masters in Spanish Literature from St. Louis University, Madrid campus. Along with Spain, Cory has traveled on educational exchange programs to France, Costa Rica, China and Morocco. She has acquired a love of languages and cultures thorough her own university abroad experiences, travels and time spent living abroad, which she is always eager to share with students.
