| The ACCENT Florence Center is located on via Bufalini, a street situated between Piazza Santissima Annunziata and Piazza Duomo. The Duomo can be seen from the new Center's courtyard. Piazza Santissima Annunziata is a mixture of wonderful Renaissance architecture and is home to the church of Santissima Annunziata, the Hospital of the Innocents which was designed by Brunelleschi, and is close to the world famous Archaeological Museum. Also, across the street from the ACCENT Florence Center is the 13th century hospital, Santa Maria Nuova, founded by the father of Beatrice Portinari, Dante's famous muse. The ACCENT Florence Center is conveniently located near many wonderful shops and restaurants. |
