The ACCENT Madrid Study Center serves as an information and resource center where students and faculty can stop in to ask questions, request program information, pick up mail, and use the Internet. All Madrid programs also have access to the extensive resources at the Instituto Internacional located just across the street.
Classes are held at the Instituto Internacional, in the ACCENT Study Center or at local academic partner institutions.
Students have access to a computer lab consisting of 10 iMacs along with DSL network connections and wireless for personal laptops.
Students have access to the extensive Instituto Internacional library - a full-service library containing over 70,000 volumes in both English and Spanish. ACCENT also maintains its own lending library with travel guides and reference books as well as Spanish and American newspapers and periodicals.
Bulletin Boards & Facebook
ACCENT's bulletin boards and Madrid Study Center Facebook page provide information about various happenings around Madrid and Spain, including art exhibits, concerts, Spanish-American activities, sports activities, and special events.
Other Center Resources
The ACCENT Study Center provides two multi-purpose study rooms for cultural activities, as well as ample common space for students to work on group projects and assignments. Similarly, the Instituto Internacional offers a cafeteria, auditorium, adjacent gardens and rooftop terrace to students and faculty.
