Center Facilities
The ACCENT Florence Center serves as an information and resource center where students and faculty can stop in to ask questions, request program information, pick up mail, and use the Internet.
Classrooms
Depending on the program and course, classes and lectures take place in the ACCENT Florence Center, at partner institutions and at sites throughout the city of Florence.
Computer Lab
The ACCENT Florence Center boasts a computer lab with the latest iMacs, as well as wireless connectivity throughout the Center allowing free Internet access for ACCENT students during business hours.
Library
ACCENT houses a large study area and a comprehensive lending library with a wide variety of subjects, including art and architecture, history, language and a large collection of both classic and modern fiction. There is also an extensive collection of travel guides and reference material.
Student Lounge
The ACCENT Florence Center facilities include a small student lounge that provides a place to socialize with fellow classmates as well as other program participants.
Bulletin Boards & Blog
ACCENT’s bulletin boards and blog provide information about various happenings around Florence and Italy, including films, art exhibits, lectures, concerts, dance performances, and special events.
Travel Information
ACCENT provides resources for students to aid them in their travel while abroad, including websites for low-cost airlines, the location of student travel agencies, train schedules, special student travel fares and rail pass information.
